A note on the solution: When it came to replacing PI with π, most solvers got the idea and didn't question it. Some didn't get it and wondered what they were missing. I concluded that the title "Jumble" (jumble being a definition of the word pi) was misleading and didn't help. Perhaps it should have been "3.14159. . . ."
